He was inspired by the lives of the people and their problems in creating epic poetry.
The Bard of Slovak Literature Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav died in DolnĂ˝ KubĂn on November 8, 1921 in a house located in the square opposite the ÄŚaploviÄŤ Library building.
After the death of Ilona Országhs widow in 1932, the estate was placed in the library building and placed in several display cases.
